Mediamatic Atelier

Praktisch onderzoek: projectontwikkeling met kunstenaars en ontwerpers

Mediamatic Atelier is een plek waar we verschillende soorten soft- en hardware onderzoeken en ontwikkelen, waaronder veel (interactieve) installaties zoals de IkCam. Sinds 2006 richten we ons op het integreren van RFID technologie in experimentele installaties en games. Bij deze projecten wordt gewerkt met de sociale netwerken en gemeenschappen die Mediamatic Lab ontwikkelt.

Mediamatic Atelier is een samenwerking tussen Stichting Mediamatic en Mediamatic Lab. Mediamatic Lab is de zusterorganisatie van de stichting, en bouwt websites en applicaties voor klanten. In het Atelier wordt de technische ervaring van het Lab beschikbaar gemaakt aan autonome projecten van individuele kunstenaars en groepen.
